Innovative Irish Software group involved in development of eBusiness financial services software have a key opening for a new CTO.The Chief Technology Officer will provide strategic leadership, operational management, vision, direction and technical expertise to the technical, Implementation, Project Management,Technical Consultancy and sales functions of this organisation. As a key member of the senior management team you will have 10 + years of hands-on experience of software design and development 4+ years experience of leading and managing progressive software development teams. Experience of managing * architecting solutions in Java, Java Servlets, J2EE APIs. Previous professional services experience in a small company environment servicing major clients is a plus.Other responsibilities will include: Full responsibility for the overall direction of the software development functions.Lead the Professional Services team to ensure that client-specific needs are met. Responsible for organizing tasks and leading, directing and supporting the global helpdesk function so as to optimize the quality and standard of service to our customers.
